One of the top producers of coffee in Central America is Guatemala which has been growing coffee since the 1850’s.
The beans we use are from plantations in the volcanic valleys of Antigua. Particularly between the three volcanoes: Agua, Fuego and Acatenango. As you can imagine at an altitude of 1650 metres the rich volcanic soil makes for excellent growing conditions. The varieties of beans are Caturra, Boubon and Typica.
